In honor of Filipino-American History Month
My immigrant story is a testament to the world’s greatest love. Nelson & Dolly met in the little island of Saipan as OFWs (Oversea Filipino Workers). They dated, tied the knot, and compromised their dreams in a suitcase. Eventually, the two settled for a picket white fence and North Carolina barbecue, sacrificing clear blue tide for Appalachia, and siestas for Sunday brunch.
